12 Mar YB2C Live! Ep #42 Farrukh Naeem Social Media Specialist, Abu Dhabi
Welcome to this week’s episode of the YB2C Live! Podcast for Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners. Every week we discuss the entrepreneurial journey, including interviews with business owners of all sizes from Detroit and all over the world who share their stories to give you inspiration, motivation, and tips for overcoming challenges and achieving success for your business.
This week, for Episode #42, we recorded a very special interview with Farrukh Naeem Qadri, an award-winning writer, social media strategist, TEDx speaker, and tech blogger from the United Arab Emirates. Farrukh and I have been friends for over 7 years although we had never met in person. We originally met during an online global webinar called “International Freelancers Day, sponsored by #EdGandia of High Income Business Writing. Ed is a previous guest on this podcast. Farrukh and I found that we had many similar interests, much more than our differences, we became instant friends. We consider ourselves part of the same family. During my recent business trip to Dubai, Farrukh traveled by bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai on a Thursday evening, two hours each way, so we could finally meet in person. We talked for three hours; part of which is in this episode.
In this episode, Farrukh tells us about his freelance copywriting career, why he loves living and working in Abu Dhabi, his love of photography, chocolates, and motorcycles, his complete dedication to his Muslim faith, and why staying connected to global online mentors like #EdGandia is so important. You can find out all about my brother-friend Farrukh on his website, and see more on his Facebook page, including all of his social media sites.
